Who we are

Puppet Arcade is a small, independent board game company founded by longtime friends Ben Famiglietti and Mike Mendizabal. What started as lunch break conversations about board games blossomed into a full-blown creative venture.

Our first game, Super Hazard Quest, brings the fast-paced chaos of retro video game speed-running to the tabletop. After a successful Kickstarter launch 10 years ago, the game is now on its fourth print edition!

Most recently, we launched Initial Thoughts - a trivia party-game that blends knowledge, strategy, and a bit of bluffing. Also funded on Kickstarter, Initial Thoughts challenges players to find high-scoring answers based on the initials in play. Regardless of age or expertise, Initial Thoughts is as much about smarts as it is creativity.

At Puppet Arcade, our mission is simple: to design games that are easy to learn, challenging to master and, above all, fun. In a world dominated by screens, we’re dedicated to creating experiences that bring people together around the table, face-to-face.

With expansions and new titles on the horizon, Puppet Arcade is only getting started!
